Snow Punch

snow punch

I LOVE throwing impromptu parties at home with my kiddos. I also love punch. Punch  is one of the best things about celebrating at a wedding shower or baby shower (besides blessing the special person of course and celebrating with them!).

So since I love random parties at home and punch. We made some Snow Punch.

Snow Punch

It was so easy.

I used clear fruit punch, sprite, ice cream and marshmallows.

When I went to make the punch, I didn’t realize that I was out of vanilla ice-cream, so we used Butter Pecan instead. It was DELICIOUS! The pecans in the punch were an added bonus. It gave it a nice added texture and surprise taste. I typically like pecans or walnuts in anything, though. Did you see my cheese dip recipe with pecans? You should check it out. It makes the PERFECT party dip.

Anyway, I love it when things work out when you mess up. Even though I didn’t have vanilla ice-cream, the punch was perfect! I think the next time I make it, I will use Butter Pecan on purpose.

After I scooped in the ice cream, we garnished the punch with marshmallows. It SNOWED on our punch.

After it sat for a few minutes, it looked perfect! The kids LOVED it.

I love that it took less than 5 minutes and was a success! Things don’t have to hard or extravagant to impress. Simple and sweet is what I like.

So impress your kids this week. Have an impromptu party and have some SNOW PUNCH.
