Here’s a quick glance at five random things for this edition of Friday Five!
1.Boys Room Makeover
My sister in law re-did my boys room for them. It is super awesome and I can’t wait to show you all the pictures! But here is just a quick sneak peek of her complete awesomeness. Stay tuned for the full post next week!
2. Real Life
Our dryer broke a couple of weeks ago, so we have been “air drying” our clothes in the laundry room for the past week. But, all is good now. Thanks to Amazon and YouTube, our dryer is now fixed again and back in business. I’m just going to say— YouTube is the best thing ever for being able to fix things around the house. We have fixed a dryer, dish washer, washer, stove, multiple little things on vehicles, and about 15 other things that needed repaired since we’ve been married, and it’s all been off of a YouTube video.
3. Reading with the kids
Like I’ve mentioned about 918397529 times on the blog. I love reading to our kids. We recently read How to Eat Fried Worms and then watched the movie afterwards with none other than little worms as a snack. We also just finished War with Grandpa. In the story, a boy and his grandpa go to war playing little tricks on each other. Well, my four year old listened closely and has been implementing some of those tricks. I went to brush my teeth the other night and my toothbrush was gone and I had to go searching for it and found it in the linen cabinet. He was already asleep when this happened, but the next morning he woke up and saw my toothbrush back where it went and said “Oh man, you found it.” (insert long and loud mischievous laugh)
4. Book Stores
I had an afternoon at Barnes and Noble, and could completely spend all of our money in there. I have to make myself leave.
5. Week activities
Other than that– Our week was full of tea parties, weddings, and homeschooling. Oh and a 10k, here is a recap.
Now on to the weekend!
